Artificial intelligence, machine learning, programming, robotics and the digital future — merged from Open Library and Google Books, ranked by reader votes, plus Wired news.
How the ranking works — live pipeline
A reader’s guide to the live technology index: the feeds behind the shelf, how the ranking is kept honest, and the filters that find the right book for the technology you are learning.
TechReads merges seven live feeds into one deduplicated set of up to 300 non-fiction titles, refreshed on every visit and cached for up to six hours.
An IMDb-style weighted rating means a book needs a meaningful number of reader votes before its average is trusted, so a book with only a handful of enthusiastic reviews cannot outrank titles with broad, sustained readership.
Live genre chips cover AI & ML, Programming, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Robotics and Ethics. Combine them with operators for a precise shortlist.
