Design, image sizing & accessible color
Make images fit and text stay readable. Work through shape, pixel density and contrast as separate decisions before exporting a final asset.
A useful way through
1. Start with shape
Choose the final frame ratio. Proportional resizing preserves shape; crop or add margins when the source and destination ratios differ.
2. Check print resolution
Divide pixels by PPI to find physical print dimensions. Ask the print provider about bleed, crop and color requirements before preparing the final file.
3. Test actual color pairs
Check foreground against its real background. Evaluate normal text, large text, focus and interface controls separately; a passing text pair is only one part of accessibility.
