About apprun.icu & Our Editorial Approach

Who makes apprun.icu, how its free browser tools work, how guides are written and maintained, and what calculations and external data can tell you.

One person, many small tools

apprun.icu is built and maintained by Yunus Emre Vurgun. It brings together free browser apps for reading, writing, planning, learning and playing. There is no account to create and the platform does not accept public uploads or outside app submissions.

How the guides work

A guide starts with a direct answer, then shows the reasoning, a worked example, relevant limitations and links to original documentation. Its companion tool lets you try your own inputs. Related articles connect concepts that are useful together; they are not endorsements of third-party products.

Dates describe publication and actual edits. Visiting a page does not make its content newer. Public catalogs and news feeds can change independently of a guide; their availability, ratings and metadata depend on the original providers.

What a calculator proves

A calculation follows its stated model and assumptions. It does not measure your equipment, certify an installation or replace professional review where one is required. Check inputs, units and equipment specifications before acting on a planning estimate. A reproducible formula can still describe the wrong situation.

How the site is funded

The author’s paid ebooks and toolkits are promoted separately from the free tools. Product prices and covers can come from Gumroad. Following a store link takes you to another service with its own terms and privacy practices.
