CSV fields stay strings
Leading zeroes, long identifiers and dates stay as text when converting to JSON. Headers must be nonempty and unique, and every data row must have the same number of columns.
JSON rows must be flat objects
JSON-to-CSV accepts an array of objects with strings, numbers, booleans or null values. Nested arrays and objects need a deliberate flattening step and are rejected rather than silently mangled.
Spreadsheet formula protection
CSV export prefixes cells starting with =, +, -, @ or leading control whitespace with an apostrophe by default. This helps prevent formula execution when opening untrusted rows in spreadsheets; disable it only for data you trust.
