Questions
QuickCalc questions, answered
What is QuickCalc?
QuickCalc is a free browser calculator: a full keypad with keyboard support, memory keys (MC, MR, M+, M−), percent, square root (√x), x², 1/x and ±, an eight-category unit converter and a running history panel. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Can I use QuickCalc with my keyboard?
Yes — digits, the operators, Enter for equals, Backspace to correct and Escape to clear all work from the keyboard, so it behaves like a desk calculator without reaching for the mouse.
What units can QuickCalc convert?
Eight categories: length, weight, temperature, data, speed, area, volume and time. Pick a category, type a value and read the converted figure immediately — the maths runs in your browser.
Is QuickCalc free and private?
QuickCalc is free, private, and works entirely offline — no account, no tracking, no data leaves your device. It is part of the Bravest New World tools on apprun.icu.
How do the memory keys work?
MC clears the stored value, MR recalls it, M+ adds the current figure to it and M− subtracts from it. A small M flag appears beside the display whenever the memory holds something other than zero, and the value is remembered in this browser for next time.
